Be Merry Event Co. is a Reno/Tahoe based boutique style full service wedding & event planning company founded by Mary Watson, a Reno native who finds joy in creating and all the little details. As wedding & event planners, our goal is to create joy and cultivate love in all aspects of our lives and most importantly in our client’s lives. We emphasize the importance of all the little details that make events completely personal and magic. Whether it’s your wedding, your bridal shower, your birthday, whatever; we pride ourselves on making the event perfect for you. The devil is in the details.

Mary was enjoying her college years, which included lots of planning of themed fraternity parties and having a blast!
Mary hosted her first backyard picnic, where her true passion for event planning and design first began.
Be Merry Event Co. was born, she was unnamed and chaotic, but she was working! Lots of learning, lots of work, and a whole lot of fun!

The year everything was on pause. Mary graduated college knowing she wanted to go into event planning but ‘twas the year of no events! The longer the quarantine went on, the bigger the idea of starting her own business got.

I interviewed three different party planners and I'm so happy that I went with Be Merry Event Co! From the very first meeting we could tell she was on top of her game. She is very professional, organized and her attention to detail was spot on. She helped me find the perfect decorations, the menu she planned was delicious and beautifully displayed. For some reason, I got really nervous prior to the party, Mary was there to calm my nerves and ensured the party would be a hit. As it was! Mary managed the timeline like a boss and sure that everything we wanted was included. I would highly recommend Mary and her team for next event. You won't be disappointed!

From start to finish, Mary was amazing to work with. She took away all of the stress that it takes to plan a bridal shower. She started setting up days prior to my event and you can tell how much pride she takes in her work. Mary did an amazing job planning a ladies luncheon for me. She took care of every detail from start to finish, from food, to tables and chairs, dishes and glassware, and most beautifully flowers and decor. She incorporated so many touches with an incredible eye for detail. Everything looked beautiful, and the food was delicious. I cannot say enough how professionally Mary handled herself and was responsive throughout the planning process.

We have known Mary since she was 10 years old and was dancing with my daughter in ballet. I was so pleased to see that she has created a niche for herself with Be Merry Event Company. We met Mary at the venue to have a meeting of the minds regarding our wedding brunch. Mary basically read my mind about every little detail and had some cute ideas of her own. She is creative, thoughtful and understands the etiquette when different cultures come together for an important event such as a wedding brunch. She was even able to accommodate all of our food preferences and restrictions. Mary was timely, neat and organized and cleaned up everything very quickly. We highly recommend Mary and her crew.
